Scamnova is an MVP digital safety assistant. It helps users analyze suspicious messages, screenshots, links, emails, job offers, and payment requests.

Information you submit

If AI analysis is enabled, submitted text, links, and screenshot OCR text may be sent to the configured AI API for analysis. Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, private verification codes, or other sensitive secrets.

Local history

The MVP stores recent scan summaries only in your browser localStorage. There is no database in this MVP. You can clear local history from the dashboard.

Screenshots

Screenshot OCR runs in the browser when the OCR library is available. OCR text may be included in the AI request if you run an analysis.

Payments

Subscription checkout may be processed by PayPal or another payment provider. Payment details should be processed by the payment provider, not stored directly by Scamnova.

Future accounts

Scamnova may store account details such as name, email, subscription status, scan history summaries, and scan limits.
